How to play Casino Solitaire at William Hill Casino

Casino Solitaire is possibly the most widely played casino card game in the world, and its popularity has not diminished over the centuries it has been played in the living rooms and parlours of both the rich and famous and the ordinary man.

It is a card game designed for only one player, and the rules are very easy to understand. William Hill offers two variants of this game – Draw One and Draw Three, and the basic difference between the two is that in the Draw One version, only one card at a time is exposed from the stock or remaining cards for the player to utilise, whereas the Draw Three version exposes three cards at a time.

Getting Down to Casino Solitaire

Once the player has selected the chosen version of Casino Solitaire, he or she simply has to place the bet by clicking on the arrows on the icon on the top right of the page. Bets vary from £1.04 to £52 per hand.

The cards will then be dealt into 7 piles as described in our Casino Solitaire, an Overview page. Once the cards have been dealt the player can then begin to move or transfer the cards from one pile to another or onto the four empty spaces above the seven piles according to the specific rules of the game. For reference purposes the Klondike Solitaire version described on our Casino Solitaire, an Overview page has the same rules as William Hill’s Casino Solitaire.

Once all 52 cards have been re-arranged on the suit piles, or the player is not able to progress any further, a quick click on the ‘end game’ button will do just that. To begin a second hand, simply click ‘deal’. The ‘undo’ button will, when clicked, undo the last move made by the player, but only the last move.
